Saint John’s Dominick Park
“Art of the Land was masterful in integrating a 13th century feature into a contemporary design for a plaza that serves as the entry way to a gothic-style cathedral. The design is elegant, simple and easy to maintain, blending the ancient and the modern, creating a welcoming space. “
-Greg Movesian, Canon Steward, Saint John’s Episcopal Cathedral, Denver
This small memorial park is dedicated to Peter Dominick Jr., a former prominent Denver architect. The inlaid labyrinth was inspired by one inside the 13th century Chartres Cathedral in France. It provides a spiritual, meditative walk within an enclosed, serene setting of trees and falling water.
