Denver Victorian Stonewall

Flagstone sidewalks and retaining walls line the street of this Victorian neighborhood. A curving flagstone stairway, set into a steep slope, leads to the front entry. Framing the entry and stairway, a stone retaining wall buttresses the terrace extending from the house, giving a more open feeling to the upper level. Groundcovers, perennials and shrubs fill the areas between walks and wall. The design and materials harmonize with the historical nature of the neighborhood.
